We’re incredibly proud to share that Twydall Primary School was named the winner of the 2026 Pride of Medway School Community Award at the Pride of Medway Awards ceremony on Friday evening.

Mrs Hardie and Mrs Wilson attended the event and were delighted to accept the award on behalf of the whole school community.

This category celebrates schools across Medway that go the extra mile to support their local community—and this recognition reflects the wide range of work happening beyond the classroom. From supporting local initiatives like Medway Foodbank, carol singing at Hempstead Valley, weekly visits to Grace Manor care home and supporting community events, to promoting a truly inclusive ethos, our pupils and staff are committed to making a positive difference.

We are especially proud to be recognised for our strong community links and our inclusive values, which sit at the heart of everything we do.
