A school uniform greatly contributes to a child’s sense of belonging and pride in their school. The school colours are red, white and grey. Twydall Primary School’s sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts, baseball caps, knitted hats, book bags, P.E. bags and rucksacks, all bearing the school logo, are on sale from the school office.
For P.E. all children should have plimsolls, white T-shirts, red, white or black shorts without any logos. This needs to be kept in a P.E. bag.
Nail varnish, make-up, coloured hair and extreme hairstyles are inappropriate for school. Everyone should wear flat sensible shoes, either black, brown or navy. Boots and high-sided trainers may not be worn in school.
All clothing, bags, pencil cases, etc. must be clearly named. Mobile telephones, iPods, computer games, toys, etc. are not permitted in school.
